Madina school is the brainchild of Shaikh Umarmia Badruddin Kashya. Shaikh Umarmia B. Kashya is a scholar and an expert in the teachings of Arabic language. He was educated in Islamic Jurisprudence from Islamic University of Al Madina-Al-Munawwara and studied Economics in Bombay University, India. Shaikh Umarmia has been teaching Arabic to english speaking students for about 18 years.

He has taught at the university in Lisbon (Universidade Independent - Lisboa) as a professor and was Khatib & representative of Muslim world league (Makkah-tul-Mukarramah) in Portugal. Shaikh Umarmia has also taught in London Central mosque, UK.

Shaikh Umarmia was a student of Dr. V. Abdur Rahim (the author of the well known Madina Arabic Books vol. 1, 2, 3) (Recommendation Letter from Dr. V. Abdur Rahim for Shaikh Umarmia Kashya).

By the grace of Allah an online institution has been launched in the United Kingdom for adults to learn many aspects of Islam, Quran and the Arabic language.
